About the Program:
The Study Tour Program on MSMEs will be held on August 2-6, 2010 in Mumbai, India. With India at the forefront of MSME development, the program aims to:

1. Expose participants to international best practices in MSME development and provide a platform for exchanging of views and ideas through country presentations of various participants.
2. Deepen the participants’ knowledge of MSMEs through interaction during visits to selected financial institutions as well as operating MSME companies.
3. Enhance the participants’’ understanding of the non-financial aspects in MSME development through presentations and interaction with various government as well as private agencies that promote MSME development in India.

Who Should Attend:
Senior officers and managers of banks and financial institutions that provide financing and related services to the MSME sector; and officers of government or public agencies that are engaged in
the development and promotion of MSME.
